Always cool to photograph a legend… Bob Toski for Golf World Magazine, probably the greatest golf teacher of all time. He even took the time to give me a lesson in the driveway. Now if I could only remember what he showed me..
Also great to be a part of the the beautiful black and white portfolio created by the likes of Thomas Broening, Darren Carroll, John Loomis, and Nathaniel Welch.

Sophie decided to go public about her life long struggle with stuttering and Christian Iooss, Director of Photography, gave me lots of latitude on the conceptual portrait
of her. Funny story…after we met at the studio I told her about an assignment I had back in the 90′s to spend a week with the Swedish women’s golf team in south Florida, turns out she was one of the women there at the time and she remembered the pictures we did on the beach. For this shoot we built a set in the studio and the cover was shot just out the back door. She’s very courageous, and I have tremendous respect for her. What an inspiring person, and funny as hell to boot!

When I first moved to Florida I would wander around the theme parks shooting Kodachrome 200 to satisfy my fascination with all the tourists and the surreal world they inhabited. When I read about the closing it reminded me of a few frames from the fall of 1991. Would love to have that shark hanging in the studio..

Photographed him out in L.A. at Manhattan Beach Studios for GPD Advertising in Warsaw, Poland a few months back. The ads were for a bank located there and he was a real sweetheart to work with. Everyone got into the act, including me and the 12 agency/clients in from Warsaw.
